In property related news, whilst winter is generally a time associated with a decline in property market activity, we are witnessing positive movement from the first home buyer’s market in particular. Reiwa.com.au data reports that Perth property prices strengthened during the June 2018 quarter, showing an increase in Perth’s median house and unit prices. REIWA President Hayden Groves said “After declining during the March quarter it’s pleasing to see prices rebound strongly this quarter. With the worst of the market downturn appearing over, the improvement in house and unit prices suggests buyer confidence is returning.”
Perth continues to present good opportunities for buyers, especially in the more affordable end of the market.
