Micro Lots on Land Estates in Perth: Trend or Travesty?

At Origin Projects, we see turnkey homes as the ultimate house and land packages for our Perth area estates. Every month, we like to update our website with what we have available in our various land estates. Here are our turnkey homes for March, 2017.

The Retreat at Mandurah Quay

Currently, the only finished or “turnkey” homes we have are in The Retreat at Mandurah Quay. The Retreat is built within Mandurah Quay, adjacent to the Mandurah Quay Resort. It is a one minute walk for many of our homeowners to the Waterfront Restaurant and the many amenities the Mandurah Quay Resort has to offer.

The Len Howard Conservation Park is also a short walk and a number of other parks are nearby. The Indian Ocean is ten minutes away, as are the Mandurah Ocean Marina, the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, the Mandurah City Centre, the Halls Head Bowls Club, the Mandurah Recreation Centre, the Mandurah Country Club, the Erskine Shopping Centre and a host of other amenities.

There are numerous opportunities nearby for boating, fishing, crabbing and other water sports. The Retreat is nestled along the banks of the Peel Inlet. It is also only a 54 minute train ride to the Perth CBD.

The Retreat at Mandurah Quay offers a seachange lifestyle without moving too far away from Perth. If you want to have one foot in Perth and the other in a great seachange locale, you can’t do better than The Retreat at Mandurah Quay.

Currently, there are eight homes left in Stage 1 of The Retreat. They range in price from $459,000 to $465,000. All have three bedrooms, two baths and two car spaces. Most are on 300 sqm lots.

The floor plans are spacious and all of the homes have premium, modern fittings. They also have high ceilings and plenty of storage area.

Other Land Estates in the Perth Area

Currently, we don’t have turnkey homes in any of our other land estates in the Perth area but new releases both north and south of the river will follow within the next couple of months.
